What a WPPSS sponsored boat would be called. Back in the 70's I worked in the Tri-Cities in Eastern Washington where they held one of the series races on the Columbia River. I was working on Unit 2 Nuclear Power Station, one of 5 that Washington Public Power Supply System (WPPSS pronounced WHOOPS) was building all at once. I think they bit off more than they could chew and were widely understood to be overmatched by the challenge. I had suggested that they improve their public image by sponsoring one of these boats. The name of course would be Miss Management.

:WOW, reminds me of the days of old.... My dad use to work on limited Hydro's in our yard in Tacoma. Smiling George and RF Rupe were family friends... such good times and good people to grow up around... I was only 14 yrs old helping pull boats to the beach with ropes.
